Sold By: ThrottlestopFour decades after the original mass-produced four-banger, Honda invites us on a lovely ride into the past. The modern Honda CB1100 keeps all of the advantages of its ancestor but is equipped with a stronger 1140 cc fuel injected engine and many other modern features which make it cope perfectly with today's standards. Smooth, powerful, compact, and free-revving, Honda's inline fours set the standard in the class. Sold By: ThrottlestopHonda seems to have a knack for thinking outside the box when it comes to engineering and new innovating new ideas. Coming off their success of the CB900, the new CB900C Custom was a blending of many techniques used throughout their model lines. Well, 5 speeds with a Dual Range High/Low box, but none the less, certainly something outside of the status quo. This example, with under 19k original miles and freshly removed from a private collection, is an extremely nice example of Honda's Flagship "Muscle Touring" bike. Sold By: ThrottlestopProject 422, an effort to produce a sporty motorcycle with commanding performance, culminated in the 1979 Honda CBX. Since Honda's entry into the United States market, the long series of CB-designated street bikes normally had numerals indicating engine displacement, but this CB was followed by X, for extreme. Even people who cared little about bikes couldn't help noticing the transversely mounted six-cylinder engine, nearly two feet wide, tilting forward 33 degrees, and sprouting a row of exhaust tubing that would make a pipe organ repairman reach for his tuning knife.

Sold By: ThrottlestopIn 1969 Sachs took control of the firm and the Hercules name stayed, most notably used in association with the W2000 of the mid 1970s - The world's first commercially built Wankel rotary engined motorcycle. Hercules took on a very Japanese-look in appearance looking much like the venerable Honda CB750K from forks to fuel tank and seat. Its 294cc or 882cc (depending on how you measure) motor produced a claimed 27 bhp at 6,500 rpm and gave a top speed of almost 90 mph. But the rotary, which was marketed under the DKW brand in Britain, did not sell well, and recent production with the marquee has been limited to two-stroke motorcycles smaller than 100cc.

Sold By: ThrottlestopRokon, probably best known for their 2 wheeled drive motorcycles, did push the envelope with their offering in the mid 1970's. They built a Street ST340, 340MX for motocross and scramble duty and the FT340 Flat Tracker you see here. Finding a way to bring the convenience of an automatic motorcycle to the market, while it sounds appealing, did have its hurdles. Lack of engine braking, subpar performance with the CVT Transmission, and lack of funding and development turned this project in early but none the less is a testament to thinking "outside" of the box. This completely restored FT340, is absolutely stunning. 1 of only 33 built, and many less known to exist, this maybe the finest left in the world. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, collector and just have an eye for something different, this bike will satisfy! Flat Tracking racing and its history is mesmerizing, and this bike captures it in a whole.

Sold By: ThrottlestopDuring the Norton Commando's ten years of production, the Commando was popular all over the world. In the United Kingdom it won the Motor Cycle News "Machine of the Year" award for five successive years from 1968 to 1972. Around 60,000 Commandos were built in total during its production. The Norton Commando, also known for being extremely fast, was the perfect donor to build fast and stylish motorcycles for either racing or road pleasure. Paul Dunstall, master craftsman that was heavily involved in Motorcycle racing found himself early on in his career drawn to this English manufacture. Dunstall went on to become its own manufacture company to secure eligibility on the racing circuit. This example is a prime example of a high quality built Cafe Racer using the finest components on the market, but still holding true pedigree to what a "Cafe Racer" is. Lightweight, striped down, powerful, and English stylistic ques. Norton Cafe Racers rarely hit the market and built to this quality is even rarer. This is the one you've been looking for!

Sold By: ThrottlestopHusqvarna started producing motorcycles in 1903—only Peugeot has continuously produced two-wheelers for longer. In the 1960s and '70s, Husqvarna's 2-stroke-powered motocrossers were the gold standard in international racing competition and made heavier 4-stroke racers typical in Britain and Europe instantly obsolete. The American market was opened up for Husqvarna by importer Edison Dye, whose input on the factory's racing machines led to a stiffer, all-welded frame and more stable steering head angle, which suited American-style off-road racing. This complete restored example is absolutely beautiful. It has been housed in a private collection for the last number of years and still appears as fresh as day one. We did run this example, but it is still in never been ridden condition. With only 300 being built, and only around 50 known to still exist, this collector quality Husky 250 Cross is perfect for any collector or enthusiast.
