It's sitting on a snazzy set of 15" chrome American racing wheels too. Inside is a tan cloth interior with buckets up front and the addition of seatbelts. The wood trimmed dash has a full complement of gauges - all in working order. Under the hood is a healthy 327ci V8 with an automatic handling the shifting. When you're riding to the car show, you can listen to an AM/FM radio, and cruise in comfort and safety thanks to power disk brakes at all four corners. A 1931 Plymouth of any type is an uncommon car these days. This street rodded 31 Plymouth sedan is a truly unique beast. Park it in your garage ASAP. It's rare and priced to sell!
  • 1936 Plymouth Westchester

    BTC 0.0000 $97,000.00
    Sold By: Gateway Classic Cars
Gateway Classic Car is in awe at this beautifully restored 1936 Plymouth Westchester VERY RARE Woodie for sale! This Westchester has tons of lineage and restoration receipts to back everything you see today and is believed to be one of two still around. This car was bought and has resided its entire 86 year life in Salem County, New Jersey. Check out some of the cool history included in the photos! In 1936 this was one of the highest costing Plymouth models with only 309 produced! For 1936 the wagon body was built by U.S. Body and Forging, in fact all Plymouth wooden wagon bodies would be built by them until the "woodie" were phased out after the 1950 model year. This Woodie is currently powered by a 350 CU V8 and backed by an automatic transmission and was done right. Jumping in takes you right back to 1936. With over 100k+ in restorations receipts done by professionals who have brought it back to life and such a low production you will be the gem at any event! The Current owner has owned the last 21 years and is aware it has been a local car since birth. The Fenders are repainted in what appears to me to be the original Green with the Woodie Body and features Tan Leather interior. The Wood continues into the interior just as it should and gives you a one-of-a-kind ride! Woodies, ones with real wood paneling are becoming rarer and rarer. If you've ever wanted to own a Woody, now is as good a time and this is the one you need to own!

The Corvette is not a copy of anything. It produces a whole new set of emotions in its beholders. It’s American and no other description begins to capture it. It’s big and why not? America has always demanded big cars — we’ve got plenty of space. Mechanically it feels unbreakable and it delivers a full measure of performance that its competitors can’t match at double the price. Handling is impeccable, limited only by street tires, and the Corvette’s pitch and float-free ride is ideally suited to high speed touring on American highways.
