This is a PHS documented, #s matching, factory Lucerne blue T/A. California car with original metal. Professionally restored by T/A experts- Restore a Muscle Car. Thos one is exceptional.
EXTERIOR: Exceptionally clean original California body. Original uncut body panels. The car is straight everywhere, smooth everywhere including along the bottom. It still has factory pinch welds around the wheel well lips. I did not see a crack or bubble. The rubber bumper, shaker hood scoop and spoilers are in excellent condition. They were only available white or blue, this is the more desirable code 26 Lucerne blue. The metal flake was laid out evenly and the clear coat was polished to a smooth glossy finish. The center stripes were properly installed. Jambs are painted slick, the door lip is clean. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. The gl* is crystal clear. The grills and headlight bezels are excellent. In back the tail lights, bumper and emblems look new. The Rally ll wheels look great, BFG tires look like new.
INTERIOR: It is really nice inside. It’s a deluxe interior. Upholstery, door panels, carpet, headliner were replaced. I’m looking at a new formula cushion grip steering wheel, the machine turned instrument panel is excellent and it has the rally gauges. It has an AM-FM radio. The center console and shifter bezel look new. All the plastic- kick panels, rear side panels seat backs are excellent. It has a factory rear defogger. Everything looks real clean and fits nice.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin # matching Ram Air lll 400 with correct # carb, ram air exhaust manifolds, correct chrome valve covers. It features power steering and power brakes. The compartment is very clean and proper. The firewall still has factory paint, all the metal is smooth.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean original metal trunk compartment. There’s no patches or splices, not even in the quarter panels. It has a nice spatter paint job. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are glossy. It has reproduction weatherstrip and decal.
UNDERSIDE: Clean original metal was prepped and painted semi gloss black. The front end was apart and rebuilt. Bottom of the motor is clean, new flywheel cover. The matching vin # is below the radiator hose. The vin # matching Turbo 400 automatic looks clean. In back it has original 3.55 posi 12 bolt rear and air shocks. The exhaust is all stainless with x-pipe, transverse muffler and correct polished tailpipes. Fuel tank was replaced. The brakes were restored, has disc in front and e-brake assembly is hooked up.
