This Road ‘Beep-Beep’ Bird has been in a private collection for many years prior to us acquiring it and we have left it as we found it with the exception of going through it and making it road ready as well as detailing it and bringing out the beautiful finish and looks.
As typical with many of vehicles enjoyed in that time, this ‘Highway Chicken’ was clearly kept with pride and sported Accessoried Centerline Street Wheels ..
Original Holley Carburetors sit on top of the Original Vintage Edelbrock Performance Manifold.
Obviously the ‘B’ Body ‘M’ Code Engine’d Monster Mopar was built to perform as its namesake ‘Roadrunner’ and so it came with the Factory Performance Options as well as the Preferred ‘Dana’ Rear End.
The Pictures posted show a replacement repro data plate and the block has at one point been re-stamped with the VIN#. Done many moons ago prior to us owning it.
We noticed that all the sheetmetal is original to the car and in good condition.Top to Bottom and Underneath is Solid and a Great Example of Such. The Fire Wall in Engine Bay as well as the Inner Fenders show as if the Roadrunner is much younger than it is. Well Preserved and Clean. The rear wheel openings and outer rockers have had some filler work to retain arched opening form and shape. Doors, Trunk, and other areas of this car look really good.
The Interior is Original and though it is aged, it has done so gracefully and is very much useable and showable as is.
We would instill that this Roadrunner is a Great example of the Iconic A12 Mopar Performance Beast.
